Hello Greetings !!!

I have purchased your product JFBconnect for Joomla 3.0.I have went through all the documentation and steps you have provided but it is not working as it is supposed to be. After initial installment it gave some twitter related error so I googled about it and found that the issue can be resolved if I update my joomla from Joomla 3.0 to 3.1 or higher,so I upgraded that. The issue was gone but after many efforts the functionality is not working as it is supposed to be.

It does gives a pop up for facebook login and asks for permissions but after that there is nothing. The user is not signed in to the site.Although the user is created sometimes which can be seen in the user manager. But apart from that there is nothing.

Here is the site url:

202.164.42.227/projects/apnaniwas

So can you please look into it and let me know how can I make it work.

Thank You

I just went to your site, but couldn't see the Facebook login button anywhere. Can you let me know where I should be testing?

As for possible issues:
* Please make sure the "Include jQuery/Bootstrap" setting is enabled in JFBConnect. That will ensure the proper Javascript libraries are included on the page.
* Your site is using an IP address. Facebook doesn't 'trust' IP addresses as they aren't as stable as real domains. You may have issues while testing on an IP address (or localhost) until your site is on a real domain name.

I hope that helps get you started, but if not, let me know what page to test with and we'll gladly investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

Thank You Alex

I have moved the site to a domain and after some changes in the admin configurations the facebook and twitter log in are working fine.

This is the new url:
apnaniwas.com/dev

This is the login url:
apnaniwas.com/dev/index.php?option=com_u...iew=login&Itemid=149

Once again thanks for your help.

I am having the same issue with different results. I did enable the jquery, as mentioned before, and then I did get a logging in popup, but then got taken to a white page with the following error:

Fatal error: Call to a member function clear() on a non-object in /home/womenofi/public_html/libraries/joomla/table/user.php on line 345

After hitting the back button, I got the following messages (see screenshot). I was able to see the site, but when I go to the Jomsocial page, I keep getting the above error message on a blank page.
File Attachment:

NOTE: I do see my profile in the user database, but it's showing as not enabled. After enabling it, the Jomsocial section does show up, but I'm not logged in.

zenesisnet,
Glad to hear you got the Google and Twitter login working. I just went to your login page, clicked the Facebook login button and was immediately logged in and brought to a properly listing page. From that one test, everything seems to be working for me with Facebook login.

Can you tell me specifically what issues you're having now? Can you let us know what steps we should take and error messages or other details you can provide that would help us recreate and understand the problem further?

Tony,
This doesn't look to be a JFBConnect or SCLogin issue. I did a search on Google for "libraries/joomla/table/user.php Call to a member function clear() on a non-object in" and found many references to this issue with JomSocial and other extensions. The problem seems to be with Joomla 3.2.0 and some other extensions. I'd recommend a) upgrading to Joomla 3.2.1 and/or b) upgrading your other extensions. In one of the JomSocial threads, they mention that there is a fix in their latest release as well, but I'm not sure what version they meant. The JomSocial may not be required though as the Joomla 3.2.1 patch will hopefully fix the issue as well.

I hope that gets you started, but if anyone needs more help, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Tony,
Glad to hear that helped get you going. As always, should you need anything else, just let us know.

Finally, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It certainly isn't required, but is very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
