Since updateing from 5.2.1 to 5.2.2 User Map in administrator gives an error 1064

1064 You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near ''%facebook' at line 3 SQL=SELECT COUNT(*) count FROM `jos_jfbconnect_user_map` um WHERE um.provider LIKE '%facebook

Glad you found a solution to the problem. You actually did find a bug though. That query is incorrect. If you try to filter the Usermap area by a specific provider, the error will come back. Instead of clearing cache, you can simply logout of Joomla and re-log back in.

It's not a critical issue in that we'll put out a release to fix just that, but we will fix it in the next release.

Thanks for pointing that out, and sorry for the trouble!

Oliver,
It's actually your browser cache you'd need to clear. The issue occurs only when you're trying to filter the users in the User Map area by the social network provider that they logged in with. That happens automatically when you click the Facebook, Google or Twitter logos on the JFBConnect -> Overview page or when you use the "Provider" drop-down to filter in the user map area.

Once you get the blank page, the only way to fix it (for now) is to log out of the Joomla admin area and re-log back in. Then you can go to the JFBConnect -> Usermap area again without issue.

We're sorry for the confusion and silly issue. It will be fixed in the next release.

Thanks,
Alex

Logging out of Joomla and back in should work as long as you go to JFBConnect -> Usermap. If you click on the social network icons in the overview page, that will cause the issue.

Either way, we hope you're ok waiting for the next release. If other critical issues come up, we'll release a newer version sooner.. this just isn't such a critical issue right now. If you need it to work though, we can provide you with the minor code modification you'd need to take.

Thanks,
Alex
