I'm guessing you mean you want to be able to create multiple Page Tab apps with JFBConnect? If so, unfortunately, that's not something we support right now. However, if you want the 'other' Page Tabs to use the same template as your site, you don't need JFBConnect to do anything. Just create the app, point the Page Tab URLs to your site, and add it to your Page. JFBConnect won't alter anything and it will display as expected.I don't want the default fb page to be behind a reveal page.
That's exactly how our Facebook Reveal feature in JFBConnect already works. When a user goes directly to your Facebook Page, they'd see the normal activity stream and everything like that. If they click the 'Page Tab' icon, which is in the lower left of your cover photo they will be redirected to the Page Tab configured in your Page Tab / Canvas area of JFBConnect. However I don't want the main page to be hidden behind a reveal i.e., they can still my fb page / timeline even if they have not "liked" it.
No problem, it's what we're here for. Hopefully, when you get your head around things, you'll provide us feedback on how we could improve our documentation or settings area to make it clearer for everyone.I apologize for the distraction but I'm still confused.
Correct. The "JFBConnect Demo" page is the App used on our demo site (demo.sourcecoast.com/) and the SourceCoast Joomla Extensions tab is this site (www.sourcecoast.com)Questions:
1. They are different fb apps right?
Correct. The Demo site is setup with a Reveal/Fan gate. This site/SourceCoast Joomla Extensions does not use the fan gate2. The demo tab is obviously a reveal/fangate right?
We only use JFBConnect for configuration of our page tab/canvas apps that you see. However, for the "SourceCoast Joomla Extensions" Page tab (or App Canvas for that matter), we could have created a whole separate application since we aren't using the template switcher feature or Reveal page features. At that point, the Facebook Application is simply loading content from our site.. JFBConnect really isn't doing anything for those views.3. Is the tab/app for your canvas page part of the jfbconnect configuration or is it some other type of app?
No, unfortunately not. Right now, the Reveal Page feature is hard-coded to Joomla articles. Generally, the reveal page is usually a simple page (some text and an image goading the user to click the Like button), we wanted to make it's setup pretty easy. We could make it a custom link that you configure, instead of just an article ID, but that's more complex and just not how we did it. We could help you change that behavior if you'd like.4. Can the reveal frontpage be a k2 document?
Not with JFBConnect. JFBConnect only allows for one App to be configured for it, which means the Page Tab for that app is all we could control the Reveal Page feature on. You can create more Apps/Page Tabs that point to your site, but they wouldn't have the Reveal Page feature of JFBConnect.5. Can I have more than one tab/app associated with a reveal/fangate so I can run multiple campaigns at the same time?
