Synchronising EasyDiscuss with a Facebook group

Just to chime in... we're not ignoring this thread, and are following it very closely. We're conducting some tests right now with posting to Pages to see what could be possible. It may take a week or so to get some good ideas of what could be done, but when we have them, we'll definitely post back here and look for more feedback. There's a lot of great ideas above and this type of functionality could be great for any extension, so now we just need to find the limitations and see how we can push those to make it a killer feature.

We'll keep you posted as we make progress on testing. Right now, our focus is on the Twitter authentication coming in the next release later this month, but that's going very smoothly (along with other new features). Deeper Page integration is something we're seriously looking at for the v5.3 release due out around the end of the year.

Sorry, no real news yet. We did some very early testing, but it was more for JFBConnect and how to best add 'outputs' and 'inputs' for different social channels.. like Facebook Pages, Twitter streams, etc. We're hoping to add an easy to use API in the next major release, after the v5.2 release due out around the end of this week. With that API, we'll be able to add the push/pull social integration that users have asked for in the past with multiple extensions, including EasyDiscuss.

So, nothing great to tell you now, unfortunately, but this is definitely a high feature on our radar.. after the v5.2 release is out.
