User Login issue

Could you provide more information, such as:
* a specific URL where I can see the behavior in action
* if there are any error messages in the console or screen
* what steps you're taking differently between the two cases above
* what browser you're using
* is there a user mapped in the JFBConnect backend user map area? 
* have you switched apps from one that was previously used on the site?

If you're on such an old version, that may be part of the problem. However, I attempted to log in via my Facebook credentials (against I think is your site with 8.0.3) and it appeared that I logged in without having to refresh the page. (see the attachment).

I watched the video but am still a little confused as to the issue. In the original post, you mention that user's aren't being shown as logged in. From the video, the user is automatically logged in and it shows they are. Is the issue that they are redirected to the /blab page and shouldn't be? If that's not the problem, can you describe a bit more what the actual issue is?

Also, for the auto-logging in, is that using JFBConnect's Facebook option of "Auto Login Facebook Users"? If not, how are they automatically being logged in?

Ok, thanks for clarifying the problem. First, please check the "Returning User Redirection" setting in JFBConnect's Configuration area. It should be set to "Same Page" so that the user remains on the page they login in from.

If that setting is correct, we'll need to narrow down further. To do so, can you do the following:
* Log out of your site
* Disable the "Auto Login Facebook Users" setting
* Then, click a link from an email
* On the new page, you should not be logged in automatically (setting above disabled)
* Click the "Login with Facebook" button
* Let me know where that brings you...

If you stay on the same page, there may be an issue with the automatic login functionality.
If you're redirected, then something else is messing with the redirect URL and we'd have to investigate that further. In that case, can you let us know what kind of component you are sending user's to in your emails? Is that just a standard Joomla article or is it content from some other extension?

Sorry to answer your question with a lot more questions, but every detail helps us narrow things down.
