Hi.

I recently had to create a new app and auto tune jfbconnect. What I noticed is that the facebook share buttons are only available to users that are logged in to facebook. If they log out from facebook they do not longer see the buttons. Is this normal? I honestly don't remember if this was the case before with the old app I was using.

Thank you in advance.

No, that is not the normal behavior or Like / Share buttons. We haven't heard any reports of this from other users. What version of JFBConnect are you using? Can you provide a URL where we can see the behavior in action?

When I go to that link, I'm able to see the FB like and share buttons without being logged in to your site or in Facebook (see the attachment). I'm using the Chrome browser. Sometimes browsers such as Firefox will block social add-ons. Also, there may be geographic restrictions in your Facebook Application itself.

This is really strange. I've done the test with multiple users. Noone is able to see the buttons if they don't login to Facebook.

What browsers are you using? Are there any security add-ons in your browser?

I've tried on Chrome, Firefox and Safari and am able to see the FB buttons with no issue (while not being logged into FB)

I've tried all browsers. Cleared cache, etc.
I'm not the only one. Nobody that has tried can see the buttons while not being logged into FB. We are in Greece.
I tried creating another app, but still the same issue.
Is there a particular js that I can try to purge from cloudflare? Maybe this is relevant.
Thank you.

Actually, it looks like this is totally intentional from Facebook.

developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/like-button

"You may start to see some impact to Social Plugins due to an updated cookies consent prompt that will be shown to people using Facebook products in the European Region. We will no longer support the 'Like' and 'Comment' Social Plugins for European Region users, unless they are both 1) Logged into their Facebook account, and 2) have provided consent to the “App and Website Cookies” control. If both of these requirements are met, the user will be able to see and interact with plugins such as the 'Like' or 'Comment' button. If either of the requirements above are not met, the user will not be able to see the plugins."

This looks like it's out of our hands...
