Hi, I'm testing the signup process with a google account. The process is interrupted when the consent of the Privacy is requested: the error I receive is "Warning Registration failed: Registration failed: You must accept the privacy policy."

I don't know what to do, besides accepting the policy. Can you help me, please?

From your message, it sounds like the message is coming from your site and not Google, correct?

If so, JFBConnect does not currently have a way to skip privacy settings enabled in Joomla or other third party extensions. If you're using the built-in Joomla 'System - Privacy Consent' plugin, you can disable this plugin. If you have any third-party extensions, such as Community Builder, JomSocial, or EasySocial, which use privacy consent, you will have to disable the setting in those extensions.

Hi,

Thank you for your answer.

Unfortunately if I disable the plugin I get the exact same error message. The only difference is that the button to accept the policy disappears. I don't have the third party components you speak of.

I visited your page to investigate further. I couldn't find the registration page on your site, can you please let me know the URL for users to register on the site? That may help us understand your configuration further. You don't need to send the domain for site, just the path to your registration page.

Also, if it's possible, could you send us administrator credentials to the site. That way, we can understand the configuration on your site and what may be trying to force the privacy consent.

To send admin credentials, please use the mail icon under my picture to the left to send a private message.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi,

I saw that the url where it occurs is related to JFB component, so I excluded JFB from the GDPR component and solved the problem ;)

Thanks for your help
