jfbconnect not keeping session on window close

I'm not sure how you're testing the auto-login functionality, but here's a description of how it works followed by how to test:
Pre-Requisite:
* You've already registered on your Joomla site with Facebook.

Auto-login triggers when:
* You are logged into Facebook.com in another tab in the browser
* You navigate to your site
* You haven't 'logged out' of your site in a while

That last bit about logging out is key. Whenever you click the logout button on your site, JFBConnect creates a special cookie that prevents auto-login from functioning. The cookie lasts as long as the "Session timeout" is set in Joomla. So, if you have a 60 minute session and click Logout, auto-login will not work if you return to the site within 60 minutes.

With all that said, I'd suggest the following to test:
* In your browser of choice, logout of your website.
* Go eat lunch, watch a movie, whatever
* Log into Facebook.com
* Visit your site. JFBConnect should automatically log you in.

If that's not working, please tell me the steps you've taken, how long you've waited and what the Session Timeout setting is for you in the Joomla Global Configuration area.
