We have many customers that do exactly what you're trying to do. To use the "Channels" feature in JFBConnect, which lets you show a customizable stream of posts from Twitter and Facebook, you'll need to setup authentication. Once the Channel and display is configured, you can remove the SCLogin button and other social login options from the site.
The reason you need to authenticate is because Facebook and Twitter both require using their API to pull the streams from a Page or Twitter Account and the only way to use the API is to authenticate using that social network and granting permission for JFBConnect to make requests on your account's behalf.
I hope that helps explain the reason and requirements, but if you need any assistance setting things up, please let us know.
Thanks,
Alex
