I am using JFBConnect buttons on an EasySocial system (with the JFBConnect selected as active in EasySocial) but when a new user registers via the Facebook icon, the first time they log in they don't get re-directed as per the setting in JFBConnect (General | Login/Logout)7

It seems this is only an issue when in the settings you have "Skip Joomla User Activation" turned off (so an admin has to approve registration.) If it's set to bypass then it does re-direct user when they are logged in as the final part of the registration.
In the 'System - EasySocial' plugin, try disabling the "Enable com_users Redirection" setting to see if that resolves the behavior. Most of the time when this issue happens, other extensions are redirecting to a different page.
Thanks - in the end it solved itself as we changed it from having admin approve user to auto approve, so now when they register via social media, it logs them right in and to the page selected. I guess something about having it set that they can'y login until approved by an administrator confuses something somewhere!
