Looking at the Joomla forums, this seems to be a 3.8 bug - forum.joomla.org/viewtopic.php?f=706&t=955025

I experience a similar problem. After updating to Joomla 3.8.0 logging in with Twitter from www.targethub.net/ rendered this page: snag.gy/Z5Sczj.jpg

Is that also a Joomla issue or can be fixed?

Please enable the 'Disable SSL Validation' setting in JFBConnect backend > Configuration > General section. This should help bypass the error and we're testing a fix for the next bug fix release of JFBConnect.

We wait for the next update to be able to reactivate this option.
Thank you!!

We're working on the release now, along with a couple other minor fixes, and it should be out within the next week if all testing goes well.

Thanks for your patience,
Alex
