Hello,
I get this message when a user try to login with Google (new or exhisting user).
I made no changes at all on the website, except Joomla update to version 3.8.0.
Any suggestion?
Thank you

Could you try enabling the setting in JFBConnect backend > Configuration > General for 'Disable DSL validation ' and let me know if there is any change in behavior?

Thanks for the quick response on both of the threads. I have made a note in our issue tracker to investigate this further, but glad that helps workaround the issue.

got the same error "We were unable to retrieve your Google account information" and Disabled SSL Validation temporarily as mel has mentioned.
It solved but let know if SSL can be enabled again.

We're investigating the cause of this issue and will have an update out once we determine the problem. Disabling SSL validation isn't ideal, but there's little risk it introduces as well. The conduit between your site and the social networks is still encrypted and secure, there's just one less security measure in place while retrieving profile data.

Thanks for your patience, and I'm glad things are working with the temporary fix.
