Hi there,
Just doing some tests on development site and after registering I get sent to my live site.
The registration does occur on my development site, but the front end page is stuck on the registration form.
See screencast.com/t/mTNXX1YU

Thanks for your help.

The registration view that is showing in your screencast is not JFBConnect. It looks like JomSocial. Since you're not using the social login buttons, that's outside of the scope that we can help you with.

???? It's driven by the SCLogin module and the social login buttons are in the screencast?

The registration button is pointing to "/goodtalktnt/jomsocial/register", which is JomSocial. If you have JomSocial's 'Use SourceCoast's JFBC' setting enabled, that's why the social login buttons are showing on that page.

Ok. I just want to make life simple. Jomsocial is where all of the profile and account info is managed. JFBConnect doesn't do that of course and I just want it all to work seamlessly. I recall somewhere that I should have made that configuration in Jomsocial, for both to work together, but I didn't expect that it would preclude me from SourceCoast support.

Are you saying that I'll have to ask Jomsocial support to help?

JomSocial and JFBConnect do work together. We'll gladly help you with any issues you have with the social login functionality or profile import. However, the registration functionality of the page in your video is completely controlled by JomSocial. If you think that JFBConnect is somehow causing the issue you're showing, then we'll gladly investigate further if you can help us understand why think JFBConnect is the cause.

In short, no, using JomSocial doesn't preclude any JFBConnect support. However, we can only help with JFBConnect problems. I wouldn't expect if you have social login issues with JFBConnect that JomSocial's support would be able to help you there just as we can't help you with a JomSocial feature that we didn't develop.

Thanks,
Alex

Well said and I agree. It's just that from my side it would never have occurred to me that this was caused by anything else than JFBconnect, and in the past you've been willing to help on minor overlaps. I will lob this over to the iJoomla people.

Be well.
