Hi,

I have a serious problem. Every time a moderator / administrator replied to a comment in FB Comments, the comment he wrote will be lost.

Please help me solve this problem, because there are many comments that have not been replied because of the problem.

Sample of page: www.deherba.com/waspadai-7-gejala-penyak...ering-diabaikan.html

Thank you.

Ayub

Can you explain more about what you mean? Are comments not working on your site at all, or are just replies not working? Are you seeing any sort of error message on the page? On the page you linked too, I don't see any comments.

Please let us know any details you can about what is, or isn't, happening and we can gladly help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

Actually, I just noticed that there's another extension adding Open Graph tags on your page and it's doing it incorrectly. This tag in particular is likely the problem:
<meta property=og:url content=https://www.deherba.com/waspadai-7-gejala-penyakit-liver-yang-sering-diabaikan.html />
There's no quote marks around the URL, so it's probably confusing Facebook's parsers.

I think those tags are from K2 and you should disable their Open Graph integration to see if that helps.

Once disabled, run your URL through the Facebook URL debug tool to make sure there are no errors. I don't see any right now, but again, the og:url tag above isn't right.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi, thanks for reply.

Yes, it's happen in all K2 pages with FB comments.

Already disable K2 Open Graph integration, and the quote already showing now.

The other error, when I login to my facebook account, and then go to my website, the page always loading and loading.. But I can't login to my site using facebook account.

You need to login to administrator page to check?

I just tried to login with Facebook. When I first tried, I got an error page. However, if I tried to login again, I was successfully logged in.

I would suggest disabling all Social Profile plugins for JFBConnect and see if that gets rid of the error page during initial registration.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex, right now we have two problem:

1. The moderator can not reply to the comment, because the message he wrote is missing on the moderator page, happen in all K2 articles/pages. .
Open Graph integration already disable now, and the quote quotes have appeared:
<meta property="og:url" content="www.deherba.com/waspadai-7-gejala-penyak...ering-diabaikan.html" />
But the problem still persists.

Note: Sometime moderator can reply the comment, but most of time the message/comment he write is gone.

2. When visitor already login to their facebook account, and then login to my site, he will get looping in the website. It's only happen when I enable nginx cache.
So, please inform which URL or Cokies that I need to disable in the cache.

Waiting your support soon.

Thank you.

Facebook caches the open graph tags on a page. You'll need to wait for Facebook to rescan every page of your site before the comments may start working. You can use the Open Graph debug tool link I posted above to scan individual pages. After they are re-scanned, they should start working.

2. When visitor already login to their facebook account, and then login to my site, he will get looping in the website. It's only happen when I enable nginx cache.

You should disable caching on any URLs that have com_jfbconnect in them.

I hope that helps,
Alex

For disappear comments I will try several time again and report for you.

Thanks.

I don't have a good answer for you on nginx caching. We aren't server administrators and I know very little about nginx and especially it's caching features. All calls to JFBConnect use option=com_jfbconnect in the query string. You'll need to prevent caching on any URL with those query parameters, but beyond that, I can't tell you how to do it.

I hope that helps explain, but please let us know if you need anything else.

Thanks,
Alex
