We are using:
Version: 7.2.0
Joomla 3.6.5
DJClassifieds 3.6.3

I am using a preconfigured phone app builder and want to bring this page into the app, in web view.
buypostsell.com

The problem is the Facebook login. It works on my iPhone in Safari but not inside the Phone App.
The phone app is not published yet but I can get you the login for testing.

Is there a way to make this work inside a phone app?
If not, are there direct links I could use to a FB, Google and Twitter logins?
Thanks for any help,
Mike

I'd suggest setting the "Show 'Login Credentials' in popup" option to 'No'. That should make the login buttons direct links that make the user go to Facebook.com to login and then return them to your site.

Beyond that, I'm not sure what the App is you're creating or how it works with JFBConnect or the browser it uses. This may be something you need to contact the mobile app developer about for more information.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks Alex, I had tried that and it doesn't work either. Sending people to FB to login won't help, (I tried) the problem is using their FB accounts to login to our site.
I suspect there is a way to use your extension code to work within the app I am trying to create. There must be another way to access the login other than the way it happens on the website because FB's application you are using can be used inside a phone app.
Could you ask your developers?

Seems like this would be a valuable addition to your software.
Thanks for your help with this,
Mike

We are the developers :)

Can you explain what you mean by:

There must be another way to access the login other than the way it happens on the website because FB's application you are using can be used inside a phone app.

We can gladly tell you the settings we have for this site and our FB application, but it it's nothing to out of the ordinary.

Can you explain any more about what is happening when you try to authenticate with Facebook? If you're developing the app, I'm assuming you can see the Javascript console of what's happening, which may help explain things. Also, for the redirection to Facebook option I mentioned above, knowing why that isn't working would help.

Thanks,
Alex
