Hello !

– Starting on a CB-based registration page
– Chosing Facebook button
– After clicking submit on facebook's popup login window
-> Every site front-end and admin shows a "too many redirects" page (until erasing last hours navigation/files/cookies in navigator, same problem for Firefox and Opera).

Configuration :
– Joomla 3.6.5
– JFBConnect 7.2
– Community Builder 2.1.2
– sh404SEF (set to bypass for JFBConnect)
– Full HTTPS with .htaccess rewrite

This happens even with cache and every LazyLoading/JCH disabled (and most others).
Setting JFBConnect config to send to other pages after login does not work either.

I saw a few pages with this kind ("too many redirects") of problem, but could find no working answers for me.

Could you please give me clues or help me solve this ?

I just went to the site that you've run Autotune from, but am unable to find where to authenticate with Facebook.

Can you give the relative path (you don't need to include the domain name) to the page where we can test from to see what's happening?

Sorry the site is in french ^_^ Though if you need you can switch language briefly to try things if you need.

Very sorry for the delay. I do see the redirect loops, but don't know the exact cause from what I can see.

Can you verify that you have both the Authentication - JFBConnect and User - JFBConnect plugins enabled on your site? If either of those are off, you may see similar behavior to what's happening.

Beyond that, it may be best if we can have a look at your admin area. If that's ok, can you private message super admin credentials? You can PM me by clicking the mail icon under my name to the left. If that doesn't work, let me know and I can suggest a few other things to check.

Both plugins are activated (all 4 jfbc plugins are).

You got super admin and even FTP credentials, I sent them you by PM Apr-07-17 10:50:22. I'll re send now to be sure ^_^

I hope you'll be able to help, we'd like to launch the site in the next few days and Facebook is crucial on this one !)

We just were able to test further and found that the following 2 Community Builder fields were causing the redirect loop:
CB AntiSpam
Invite Code

Are those both core Community Builder fields, or are those additional fields you've installed from other sources? I've disabled them for now and I get to the registration page, though I haven't tested further. You may want to test with Automatic Registration enabled to see if that works how you want, or keep the manual registration process enabled.

Please let us know what if things work better from here and we can gladly help investigate more if necessary, but we'll need to know more about those 2 fields plugins to understand more.
