Thanks for letting us know. We recently changed the backend name, but missed this documentation update.(oh by the way - ur guide is wrong there since it says "click on open graph" but the menu item in backend s called "social meta")
1. Please verify that the 'Open Graph - Content' and 'Open Graph - K2' plugins are enabled.1) i want to post articles in my backend and spread those. nothing happens though (neither in joomla article menu or in K2)
In the JFBConnect backend > Configuration > General area, there is an option for 'Enable Social Toolbar'. This needs to be enabled. Then when you are logged in on the front-end as an administrator (or with a user that has the permissions for creating the post), the toolbar should be present.2) to manually post items i should have an menu in the lower left corner (while logged in to the frontend) according to ur guide. this menu bar istn there as well
Did you receive any errors when setting up the objects? What version of the Graph API is your application using? Is this a custom object that you have created in FB or is it the standard article object?i tried to setup the opengraph objects but it didnt work properly.
i created a seperate user with administrator rights. this user logges in via SCLogin with facebook.mel wrote:

there is no Open Graph K2 in my plugins list (backend)
i now selected "all objects (Articles from Joomla Content) - hthis object was not there to be selected after install though. now its there and selected. same with custon object Articles under "autopost objects"2. In the Channel edit area, instead of selecting objects, you can instead select the two plugins so that it will be all articles and items. Could you also attach a screenshot of your channel setup to this thread please?
Empty3. Can you go into the Channel backend > History tab and see if there are any error messages in the activity log? Btw, if an article/item is already published before you have this set up, we don't attempt to publish - it would just be new content.
it is enabled and was by default after installing. In the JFBConnect backend > Configuration > General area, there is an option for 'Enable Social Toolbar'. This needs to be enabled. FB, twitter and G+ connection of the user did work well. loggin in via frontend works - user can change items and articles for example. Stream of facebook and twitter is shows in the backend test area as well.
JFBConnect detects K2 on installation and only installs the plugin if we find it. If you installed K2 after JFBConnect, this could be the reason. Please try re-installing JFBConnect again to see if the plugin is installed. If not, you can unzip our install and find the K2 plugin in /packages/plugins/opengraph and install that zip instead. You'll need that plugin too for autoposting K2 content.there is no Open Graph K2 in my plugins list (backend)

That's good progress for FacebookTested it now with a new article: it got autoposted (from backend) to Facebook, but twitter wasnt posted.
If the Open Graph plugin was not originally enabled after install, there would be nothing in the list when you created the channel. Once you enabled it, this option for All got added. However, instead of Autopost objects (since you said there were problems setting up the objects, please use the "Autopost Plugins" setting that's right below that one.i now selected "all objects (Articles from Joomla Content) - hthis object was not there to be selected after install though. now its there and selected. same with custon object Articles under "autopost objects"
The toolbar is only for manual posting. It's possible that there's something preventing it from popping up. If you'd like to me look into it, I'd suggest sending me a PM with your specific URL and superadmin credentials (you can use the envelope icon under my avatar to send the private message). If you'd rather just focus on the backend posting since that's what you'll use, that's fine too.sadly neither the toolbar does appear, nor does my editor (im using JCE btw) show any changes for posting articles.
how should i see a difference there? Maybe im doing something wrong. I never wrote articles on the frontend to be precise. i do it in the backend directly cuz it fits me more.

1. Could you open your application in the Twitter dev area at apps.twitter.com/ and verify that you have "Read and Write" permissions for the app?
2. Are there any activity logs now for the Twitter channel in the Channels > History tab?
mel wrote: From those messages, Twitter doesn't think you have the right permissions even though it's set to Read/Write. Could you try regenerating the access tokens to make sure the permissions take effect?
1. Go to apps.twitter.com/i dont get it, sorry. i dont even know what u mean by "regenerating acces tokesn
I'm not sure why it worked before but isn't now. The error message you provided indicates you don't have read/write permissions on the app.first twitter autopost worked, but fb didnt, now fb works, but twitter doesnt
Please make sure that you're logging in on the front-end with the Twitter login button, not a Joomla user. If you are doing so, then take a look at the JFBConnect > User Map area to make sure there's an entry in this section for the user. Only the users that have a mapping in this table will show up to be selected in the Channels backend.2. i cant get another user to be picked in channel config. i login over frontend but still no other user is detected in the backend
Hmm. I'm not sure why we're not detecting K2 if it's on your system. What version of K2 are you using? I would suggest manually unzipping the JFBConnect installation package and installing the K2 plugin yourself. After unzipping, find the K2 plugin in /packages/plugins/opengraph to install.3. i reinstalled jfbc now - hoping i can then use k2 too - it didnt install the k2 plugins this time too
