Hi,
Last summer my website was severly hacked and it took me several month to clean and fix the meas.
As protection I installed 2 firewall extensions (Akeeba admin tools & Securitycheck), switched to https and temporaly disallowed all login to the site.
Due to this I had some problems with several other extensions, and posibly also with this one,

Now I nead to allow logins on my site and start using JFBconnect to social media but I found mi self with numerous problems.
1) Can't login to the frontend using JFBconnect component: get blank page & message "invalid security token"
2) Can't login to the frontend using facebook: when i'm logged in to my personal facebook account page it's works ok, But when try I it with my business account facebook page (have several pages in same account) I get a error message indicating an redirect loop

I don't know if the problem is related to my firewalls or if it's just bad configuration (no error found with autotune).

As I can't login correctly to our site as the administrator of my business facebook page I have problems configurating the facebook channel where I get this message "The selected user has not granted the "manage_pages" permission. Please have them login on the front-end of the site and accept the correct permission."

Hope you can help mi out,

I using:
Joomla 3.6.0
JFBConnect Version: 7.1.2
SCLogin

1) For this one, how are you trying to login? Is this with standard Joomla credentials or with a social network. If with Joomla credentials, can you try using the standard Joomla mod_login module to see if you have the same problem? That will help narrow down where the issue lies.

2) You can't do Facebook logins with a Facebook Page. I'm not even sure how you're trying to do this, honestly. Facebook logins can only be done with personal profile accounts, the same ones that create the Facebook Pages. To my knowledge, when you do a Facebook login there isn't even an option to use a Page to login, but if you're doing so, please let us know how.

The reason Facebook doesn't allow Pages to authenticate is it's ripe for abuse. Since one Facebook profile can create unlimited Pages, if each of those Pages could authenticate as a different account on a site, users could create many accounts for spam and other 'bad' behavior.

For the channel configuration, you need to authenticate with the profile that owns the Page, not the Page account itself.

I hope that helps explain, but if you need anything else, let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Sorry Alex,
I did found the problem with the login.
1) login to the frontend using JFBconnect component: The problem was that I was calling the sclogin module with "modules anywhere" on a page made with "Creative Contact Form" developed Creative-Solutions.net. (when I set the module in any other module position it works good.
2)login to the frontend using facebook: Didn't express my self very well, I didn' want to login to my facebook account, just to my web frontend (using the social media button).
a) when I'm loged in to my personal facebook account and then push facebook button, it's work fine.
b) when I'm loged in to our company facebook account and then push facebook button then I get the error message indicating an redirect loop.
c) when I'm NOT loged in to any facebook account and then push facebook button, I'm redirected to the facebook login page and if I then login to our company facebook account, I get the same error (login in to my personal account all ok).

About the channel configuration: I guess I still don't know your product well enough and I'm trying to use it improperly.

I thought that if I wanted to interact with the facebook page of the company, I should alsoconnect to it as the owner of said page. But having multiple pages with this user this error occurred.

Lorenzo

What is your 'company facebook account'? Is that a normal user-profile account that you use for your company, or something else? Do you have an email address and password that you login with and is it a user account that can 'friend' other accounts? I think we're missing something here.

There shouldn't be a redirect loop, so that is a problem. However, you won't be able to login using a Facebook Page account.. only with user profiles.

I thought that if I wanted to interact with the facebook page of the company, I should alsoconnect to it as the owner of said page. But having multiple pages with this user this error occurred.

You should be able to authenticate with any user that is an admin of the Facebook Page you want to interact with. Once you setup the Channel in the JFBConnect admin area and login with the Facebook account of someone who is the admin, JFBConnect will be able to post to that Page or pull in the feed from that Page.

I hope that helps explain some more of how JFBConnect works, but let us know how we can help and we'll gladly do what we can.

Thanks,
Alex
