Security token on login driving me nuts was created by tenaki

Hi I have posted on the joomla forum as I suspect this is a joomla (or my own) problem but it is driving me nuts. I seemed to have had the problem at various times for years

I get "The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again." Refresh does nothing I have to fiddle around going to different pages until I get lucky.

I have the latest version of joomla, standard htaccess in google webmaster I have a preferred domain.

I have one login/logout module on every page

Cache is set to off although the cache plugin is active and I have jreviews cache

Any ideas?

I'd try disabling the cache plugin. If you're using the SCLogin module, or any other module, check the Advanced parameters area and set the Cache option to "No Caching" as well.

Beyond that, no, I don't have any real good ideas as to what could be happening. The invalid security token is a common problem across many Joomla sites that really doesn't have one specific answer.
