Hello,

it is was a long time ago that we didn't have this problem, but yesterday, we have again this old probleme.

Wrong image was selected when we post article on own facebook
www.lebruitdesimages.com/blog/instants-d...-enfants-arc-en-ciel

So what can we do to fix this (for this post, and for the other)...?

Regard.

As Alex explained in his responses to your original thread, this is because Facebook has not scraped your page yet. The Open Graph tags are set correctly by JFBConnect, but the changes have not been picked up yet by FB. This is not something that we can control.

Here's the sharing debugger when I put in your URL. It hadn't been scraped for about 5 days and had no image tag:

You can see that the preview has changed and there's no longer an image missing:

Alex's answer:

Facebook automatically re-scrapes the pages of your site every week or so. For some content and sites, that can happen much quicker. If your site is new, doesn't have content updated often or doesn't have content that is shared frequently, it can take Facebook even longer to re-scrape existing content (and find new or updated tags) or scrape new content for the first time. We have no method to force Facebook to scrape content right when it becomes available.

All JFBConnect can do is set the Open Graph tags so that when they do fetch your page (either automatically or by you forcing it in the Debug Tool), they see the right information for your page.

I hope that helps explain. What you describe is the normal process for how Facebook works.

The solution is for you to scrape the pages as you make new content.
