Topic-icon Rejection of valid email addresses for new user registration

Hi,

I am using JFB Connect as the user registration component and have just updated both jomsocial, joomla and jfbconnect to their latest versions.

In testing I have noticed that all email addresses are being rejected in the first step of the registration process (see below) this is with real email addresses that are currently not used elsewhere on the site. I have gone over my config and everything seems in order (no changes have been made since before the update).

Is that only happening when you are registering using a social network configured in JFBConnect or does that happen when you try to perform any type of registration? If it's for all registrations, you'll need to contact JomSocial as we don't control the registration flow you describe above and wouldn't be the cause of the email addresses being denied.

I hope that helps, but if not, please provide any other details about your configuration and test flow that you can.
