I need clarification. When you say adding the SCOpenGraph tag doesn't work, do you mean that the og:image tag is not present in the page source? If you put just regular text to print to the screen, is this showing up on the page you're expecting properly (it's possible you're attempting to edit the wrong view file). Or are you seeing any error messages on the page when Joomla Global Configuration > Error Reporting is set to Maximum or Development? If the og:image tag is in the page source but you're seeing an incorrect preview when sharing to a social network, you may need to manually re-scrape the page.
* Could you also let me know which specific version of Virtuemart 3 you are using and which version of Joomla?
* Could you provide a specific URL of the page you're seeing this behavior for?
* Did you previously have an SCOpenGraph tag on the page that was working prior to the latest 7.0.3 release? Our 7.0.3 release provides some updates to our Social Profiles plugin for Virtuemart (for importing data), but it shouldn't be related to Open Graph tags on the page.
I don't see an attachment in the thread. Could you append ".txt" to the end of the filename? It's possible it wasn't uploaded properly because it ends in .php. Once you re-upload the file, please make sure you attach it to the thread with the green curved arrow? I'd like to look at how you're adding the easy-tag
