Alex responded to your Contact Us form this morning, but I'm also copying his response here:
All users that register with a social network will have a Joomla user account created for them. Every extension will treat them just like 100% normal Joomla users.
Right now, JFBConnect always puts a newly registered user into the standard "Registered" group, or whatever group you've assigned as the default.
In the next release of JFBConnect, we've already added support for selecting the group(s) a new user should be registered into. That release is expected out in September.
