I'm unsure why Autotune isn't working for you. I'd double-check your Subscriber ID is correct by going to My Account -> My Profile and re-entering that into the JFBConnect admin area.

With or without Autotune, the Callback URL should look like:
https://www.YOURDOMAIN.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconnect&task=authenticate.callback&provider=facebook
http and https should work.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Sorry for the confusion. The Valid OAuth Redirects URIs is the setting I was talking about. Please update that so it uses the path as I showed above.

As noted, to make sure all your settings are correct, I'd recommend using Autotune. To get it running, look at the step I mentioned above to verify you're using the correct Subscriber ID.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
I need your help asap, i did not get any solution and i still have this:
Error

Facebook API Error: (#15) This method must be called with an app access_token.
Facebook Application configuration could not be loaded. Please check your App ID and Secret Key.
the App ID and Secret Key is ok, even trying to solve the problem i put some ips in the white list, because in some point i got this request by facebook, so trying to solve the situation , i went worst, as i moved to other places i have no access these ips, now my app is locked, then i started a new application and placed the new app id and secret key, but still i have the problem, please i'd like to give you my facebook credentials in order you check the issue, can i send you by private message?
Other thing, the sourcecoast subscribe id is still expired, can you check that?

Facebook API Error: (#15) This method must be called with an app access_token.

Generally the cause for this error is because the app is set up for the wrong type of app. It should be 'Web'. In the Facebook Developer > your app > Settings > Advanced tab, please ensure that the "Native or desktop app?" setting is set to No

If you continue to have the error after trying this suggestion, I'd recommend first to remove anything set up for the whitelist (and especially if you're still having your original error "This IP can't make requests for that application")

Just to verify, your OAuth Redirect URL's should have been replaced with the following:
http://solterascristianas.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconnect&task=authenticate.callback&provider=facebook
http://www.solterascristianas.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconnect&task=authenticate.callback&provider=facebook
https://solterascristianas.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconnect&task=authenticate.callback&provider=facebook
https://www.solterascristianas.com/index.php?option=com_jfbconnect&task=authenticate.callback&provider=facebook

Other thing, the sourcecoast subscribe id is still expired, can you check that?

In JFBConnect backend, please open Autotune. Go to the Facebook Application tab. There is a refresh button in our toolbar that should hopefully clear up the expiration.

Let me know if you still have issues after trying the above.

Hi Melissa,

Sorry for the long delay in answer, the problem was as you set: Native or desktop app? was on, Thank you very much.
About the redirect url look like any valid url is ok, i don't know but i put this:
www.solterascristianas.com/index.php
www.solterascristianas.com/index.php
solterascristianas.com/index.php
www.solterascristianas.com/
www.solterascristianas.com/
solterascristianas.com/
solterascristianas.com/Remove
and is working fine, so let me know if the redirect url have to be as you set that :

solterascristianas.com/index.php?option=...ck&provider=facebook
www.solterascristianas.com/index.php?opt...ck&provider=facebook
solterascristianas.com/index.php?option=...ck&provider=facebook
www.solterascristianas.com/index.php?opt...ck&provider=facebook

Because i don't have issue but maybe could be, can you better explain that?

Best Regards

Romulo,
The URLs above likely should work (except the last one that has Remove in it... I'm assuming that was an accident). It's best to use the full URL that Melissa mentioned for some minor security improvements, but not necessary.

Of course, test and make sure. Also, please make sure you test with Facebook users that aren't administrators of your Facebook App as the restrictions get loosened a little for admins. If you have no problem with 'normal' users, you should be good to go.

Thanks,
Alex
