Hi!

I reached the following problem when trying to login with sclogin:

The most recent request was denied because it contained an invalid security token. Please refresh the page and try again.

I am logged in to the admin panel in a browser tab. When I am going to enter my website I got the message shown above. I cleaned the cache, I switched of sh404sef. fter that I switched of the cache and it worked. Switching of the cache is no solution because the website is much too slow.

I tryed to figure out where this problem occures, but I failed finding a solution. The web said: clean the cache, increase session time, .... I did all this. Nothing helped.
All of the website lokks to work fine, apart from the sclogin module. One of the sources in the internet said: The developer of the module is not using the token in the correct way. I believe after LOG OUT, the security token needs to be deleted. If the user is logged out by the server, due to inactivity or because he lost connection, the token has to be deleted, too. Perhabs you can look this up.

Login with e.g. facebook worked fine, but the login with name and password causes the problem.

That are all informations I could collect so far, perhabs this helps to correct this. Or do you have another solution for this?

Kind regards,
Volker

Please try going to the Advanced area of SCLogin and turn off caching just in that section. You shouldn't need to disable caching entirely on your site. Hopefully that setting will get you going, but if not, let us know and we'll gladly help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

Glad to hear that got you going. If you need anything else, please let us know!

Also, if you haven't already, please consider leaving a rating and review for JFBConnect, or our support, on the Joomla Extension Directory. It's certainly not required, but very appreciated:

Thanks,
Alex
