Hi Alex,

Since i stated using JFBConnect component, i can see some behavior this is the case, i have some user account registered by joomla only, if this user login on the site and then logoff, after that login with another user authenticated by facebook then next time i try login by facebook and see that the joomla user get connect with the facebook user credential i'ii explain better:

user 1 named Desiree, is joomla user only
user 2 is Linda, user authenticated with facebook

So then when i try to login user 2 Linda the user who real appear logged in is user 1 Desiree, instead of user 2, so now joomla user 1 get authenticated with the facebook credentials of user 2 , so what i can see is joomla user 1 with the profile avatar and cover photo of the user 2, my question have you face this issue from other user? that happen very often on differents browsers, i'd like to have a solution for that, because i have a facebook user very famous on my site, and then when try lo login by facebook the one who is really logged in is the joomla showing the avatar and profile cover photo of other user, so people get confuse.

I hope you understand what i explain. please check the screenshots

Is the user's profile actually being updated with the different user's name and avatar, or is it just displaying incorrectly?

We haven't heard of the issue you describe and no other reports. The only thing I can think could cause this is if the following happens:
* You open your site in 2 different browser tabs
* In both tabs, you are a 'Guest' users (not logged in)
* In one tab, you login with your Joomla user
* Then, in the other tab which still thinks you're a guest, you login with Facebook
JFBConnect will detect this as the Joomla user trying to associate their account to the Facebook account that was just authenticated.

There's not a way to stop this. However, it only happens when 2 users are using the same account and switching back and forth between accounts. The scenario above would never happen across different browsers or computers.

I hope that helps explain, but if not, let us know more details on how you're logging out and back in again and we'll try to help further.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,
I tested again in a mobile browser with a new cellphone, in this device i never logged in with those accounts, so the problem is not browser, i think there some link saved in database
Please try login to facebook with this user: <REMOVED> and you can see how is Linda user on facebook
After that open the site and try to login by facebook connect, you will see still linda photo and cover but profile info from desiree. after that then login on the site for desiree account
with this user: <REMOVED> then change the avatar and cover photo for Desiree with any photo, then try to use in any other browser or device to login back with linda facebook credencial, only doing that you will see the issue i am facing since i installed for first time JFBC.
Best Regards

Can you check the JFBConnect -> User Map area and find each of those Joomla user accounts. Then, double-check which Facebook account each is associated with. Somewhere, the association got mixed up, likely from the reason I said above. Once JFBConnect makes a new association between a user and their Facebook account, then any time after that, the user will be logging into the wrong account.

Delete the mappings between the 2 users and then try to authenticate again. I think that should fix the problem. When testing on the same system though, try to make sure you're not opening multiple browser windows and switching users in each tab or else things can get mixed up.

Thanks,
Alex
