JReviews? was created by timwil
I have both K2 and JReviews installed on my website and I understood JFBConnect worked with both extensions. However when I go into the backend of JFBConnect (see screenshot), no settings appear for JReviews, just K2. Is there something extra I need to do?

Just been watching your video again from the 2012 Joomla World Conference. I actually watched it back in January but now my site is live, I am looking at ways to generate more traffic and you give a very interesting talk. However I do have some further questions related to JReviews and JFBConnect which are supplementary to above..

1. Once configured correctly, can JFBConnect put buttons (such as Facebook Like) on JReviews details page? (By details page, I mean an individual listing)
2. Again once configured correctly, can JFBConnect use Open Graph with JReviews?
3. Is it a requirement to for a user to be logged into my website specifically using the Facebook login option on SCLogin for Open Graph actions to work? My thought is that if that is the case, by also offering Twitter, Google+ and LinkedIn log-in then I could be losing opportunities for my website content to be automatically posted to a user's timeline on Facebook.

Tim,
Sorry for the delayed response. JFBConnect does have support for jReviews for Open Graph tags. We don't support automatically adding social sharing buttons to jReviews though. You can add those buttons using the JFBCSocialShare module or various other features.

As to your specific questions:
1) No, we don't do this automatically. You can configure the JFBCSocialShare module to show on your jReviews items in a specific module position or floating like at the bottom of this site. You can also modify the jReviews templates to add our EasyTags, like {JFBCFacebookLike} wherever you want the Like button to show.
2) Yes. Our Open Graph - JReviews plugin can automatically try to set title, description and images for jReviews content. You can also set these tags manually on each jReviews listing by adding custom tags, like:
{SCOpenGraph title=Title for listing}
3) Yes, the user must be logged in using Facebook to have an Open Graph Action trigger on their behalf. However, I wouldn't focus just on Open Graph Actions. Limiting the ways users can register can ultimately limit the amount of user's that register. Consider Open Graph Actions as a bonus, if it happens, but first and foremost, getting user's into your site is (usually) more important.

Open Graph Actions also get relatively lower weight than some other content postings to a user's Feed. While beneficial, it's not guaranteed to show up in the user's feed that a friend sees whereas a post that user makes intentionally obviously gets higher weight.

I hope that helps answer your questions, but if you need anything else, just let me know.

Thanks,
Alex

I did a search for the Open Graph - JReviews plugin but didn't find it (the K2 one was there). Do I install it manually? I think I installed JReviews after JFBConnect which could be why it is not installed?

Yes, if you installed JReviews second it would not be there. You can simply reinstall JFBConnect and our package will automatically detect JReviews and install the plugin, or you can manually install the plugin (the file would be located in the zip file > packages/plugins/opengraph/jreviews.zip file.
