I am having a lot of problems with my metatags ... it seems that JFBC is over-riding the meta tags on my articles

Here's what is being presented...

And here are the meta tags that are being ignored...

It appears that JFBC is overriding the ones that my SEO program puts in. Can you help me fix this?

Thanks and can't wait until version 7 comes out.

Allen

The good news is I have slain this dragon... the bad news is that I can't seem to get it to present the first image in my article as the OG: Image... I think I screwed this up in the OG Config. Can someone please advise how to fix this one.

If you have an SEO program that's already setting tags for you, you can go into the JFBConnect Admin Area -> Open Graph -> Configuration. In there is a "Skip Tags" field where you can add any Open Graph tags that JFBConnect should not try to set or alter in any way.

As long as you don't set the image tag to be skipped, then you should just need to have the Open Graph - Content plugin enabled to set your image tags for you. The other tags that the content plugin normally would set, like title and description, will be ignored.

I hope that helps, but if not, let us know how you fixed the issue in the first place (in case you did something different that's causing problems) and more information about how you're trying to have the image tag set by JFBConnect.

Thanks,
Alex
