the new rules do not appear to JFBConnect

Are you using Alpha User Points or the forked version of Alta User Points? We don't yet support Alta User Points, though plan to in an upcoming release.

Beyond that, please let us know what version of Joomla and AUP you are using and we can investigate further. We haven't heard of instances where the rules are detected properly, so would need to do some investigation.

We don't support Alta User Points yet. We only support the original Alpha User Points. Even though Alpha User Points is no longer in development, Alta User Points is a fork that changed some underlying code and functionality. We do plan to upgrade JFBConnect to support Alta User Points, but we don't yet.
