It looks like JFBConnect is creating an open graph extension that's mucking up the RSS feed on my Joomla website. It's very strange because I don't have the open graph extension enabled, but it seems that a Facebook open graph is creating a html line on every menu item I create (or article, I'm not sure). The thing is that I have some Facebook features running on my website through JFBConnect (like and share buttons, comments and login using Facebook). They all work fine, but my RSS feed on my "What's New" page comes out empty. I was discussing this issue with Joomla developers and they think the problem may be related to your component. If you click
Feed Validatorhere
you will see that the second line of my RSS page is highlighted and it shows this:
<html prefix="og:
ogp.me/ns# fb:
ogp.me/ns/fb# englishwithsteve:
ogp.me/ns/fb/englishwithsteve#" xmlns:fb="
ogp.me/ns/fb#" dir="ltr" lang="en-gb">
In this case, "englishwithsteve" was the name I created on Facebook to get the Facebook app id and secret key to configure Facebook on JFBConnect. But, despite the fact that I disabled any Facebook features on my "What's New" feed page, the html line above is still there.
Can you please help solving this issue?
Many thanks,
Steve
