I upgraded an existing site from J2.5.28 to J3.4.8 and installed latest version of JFB Connect. I'm getting the following error when running Autotune.

Error: Could not fetch page. Server returned:
Error Code: 406 - Request denied by the server.
Mod_Security denied the request. Please contact your hosting company or technical support to allow our automated tool to scan your site.

The site is running on the same server as before and JFB Connect was working on the original site. What do I need to check to find the problem?

The full response from your server is:

Not Acceptable!
An appropriate representation of the requested resource could not be found on this server. This error was generated by Mod_Security.

It may be the same server, but something regarding mod_security is different, either with the URL structure, PHP/Apache configuration, or some other change. I don't know what that change would be, but that's the error coming back.

With that said, I just manually checked your page. None of the issues that the Error Check tool look for would have been found. While it's good to get the automated tool working, you look good to go on that site.

Thanks for taking a look, Alex.

The difference between the old and new versions is the original used PHP 5.3.29, but due to Rocket Theme Gantry 5 requirements, the new site runs on PHP 5.4.45. Are there any known issues with JFBConnect and that version of PHP? I checked System Info for both sites and PHP settings seem to be the same, although there are some additional settings listed for 5.4.45.

All JFBConnect modules installed without error and are enabled and all seems good-to-go based on your inspection, but when I enable JFBFan, I get the error "JFBConnect not found. Please reinstall."

JFBConnect may have been installed prior to changing PHP versions, so I'm going to try uninstalling/reinstalling the component to see if that gets it going again.

You shouldn't have any problems with that PHP version.

The problem you're having is that the JFBCFan module was deprecated and removed from JFBConnect about 2 years ago. We continued to support it ever since, but no more with the latest versions.

However, it's easy to replace. Please use the SCSocialWidget configured as Facebook -> Page Plugin. The SCSocialWidget was our new module to let you create all of our social modules in one place instead of having to install ~50 different ones cluttering things up.

Haha - I just reinstalled JFBConnect and couldn't find JFBFan. I did still get the same error in Autotune though. I'll try setting up SCSocialWidget and see if I can get that to work as before.

Keep us posted how it goes. Hopefully you don't run into any other issues. Unsure about Autotune, but there's nothing we can do on our end since the server is rejecting the request.
