Can you explain more about how you have things configured? It sounds like Automatic Registration is disabled and you're redirecting the user through the EasySocial registration flow. Is that correct?
In general, the first things we'd recommend are:
* Disable any Social Profile plugins you may not be using. Each plugin tries to import data from the social network, which requires additional requests and can slow things down.
* Within the Profiles -> EasySocial area of JFBConnect, disable all import features - profile, avatar, cover, etc. Then, test to see if that improves speeds.
* Finally, try setting the "Disable SSL Validation" setting to "Yes". That will remove an SSL check that, when it fails, can cause increased latency
I hope that helps narrow things down. If there's one specific setting above that makes a big improvement, let us know and we can go from there to improve things.
Thanks,
Alex
