I need to override open graph only in home page, so I followed the instructions described in www.sourcecoast.com/jfbconnect/features/...pen-graph-for-joomla

I have created an html custom module at the begin of my home page with this:

{SCOpenGraph image=http://lesionmedular.org/images/logos/logo_lesion_medular.png}
{SCOpenGraph title=Red Social LesionMedular.org}
{SCOpenGraph description=¡Únete Ahora! Ven y únete a nuestra comunidad. Expande tu red y conoce gente nueva!}

The module only be displayed in my home page...

Site url : lesionmedular.org

I need your help !!!

I see the proper og: tags showing up in the content as expected. However, Facebook is having difficulties parsing all the Open Graph tags because JomSocial is installed and setting incorrect see_also tags. You can see what Facebook sees by using their Open Graph Debug Tool and using the "Fetch new scrape information" button.

For information on how to fix those tags within JomSocial, please see the following page:
www.sourcecoast.com/forums/jfbconnect/jf...engraph-error#p50123

I hope that helps get you going, but if you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

I'm not sure what you mean. In the HTML, I see the following Open Graph tags:
<meta property="og:image" content="http://lesionmedular.org/images/logos/logo_lesion_medular-120.png"/>
<meta property="og:image" content="http://lesionmedular.org/images/logos/logo_lesion_medular.png"/>

Also, another extension (likely JomSocial) is adding the following og:image tag:
<meta property="og:image" content="http://lesionmedular.org/components/com_community/assets/frontpage-image-default.jpg"/>
We don't remove other og:image tags that are found. If you don't want that to display, you should contact JomSocial on how to disable their Open Graph tags.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Thanks Alex,

The easiest way in this moment is changing this image in the meta property and disabling the rest. <meta property="og:image" content="lesionmedular.org/components/com_communi...-image-default.jpg"/>

I hope FB take this change very soon !!

Thanks again !!!

You can use the Debug Tool, linked above, and "Fetch New Scrape Information" to check that the update is detected. That updates Facebook's cache as well so you don't have to wait for them to re-scan your page.

I'm glad to hear it sounds like things are working for you. Should you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
