When I am trying to register with Facebook and submit the EasySocial registration page, I get the following error:

1062 Duplicate entry '623' for key 'PRIMARY' SQL=INSERT INTO `iox_social_users` (`user_id`,`state`) VALUES ('623','1')

It sounds like there's some issue with a stale row in the EasySocial database table. When you're testing, are you registering, deleting and then trying again? I'm not sure why that row would already exist if this is the first time the user is registering on the site.

My other suggestions beyond the above is:
* Test with the "Automatic Registration" setting of JFBConnect just to see if that properly creates the user
* Try re-ordering the JFBCSystem plugin to the top and bottom of the system group, which may re-order parts of the registration flow better
* Ensure that the Facebook authentication features of EasySocial are disabled

I hope that helps get you started, but if not, please let us know what versions of Joomla, EasySocial and JFBConnect you're using and we'll help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

It works when setting Facebook to Automatic Registration. When I switch back to going through the registration process with Easysocial, I get the same error. When I delete the user, I delete the user through Easysocial. I have tried moving the JFBConnect system plugin from the top and bottom of the system group list, but that does not work either.

This is also happening to Windows Live registrations.

After I get the error, I am still showing the user being registered in Joomla and EasySocial. The user is being blocked until the admin approves them, but the user and the admin are not receiving the activation emails.

Joomla 3.4.8
EasySocial 1.4.6
JFBConnect 6.5.3

Sorry to keep asking questions, but we have many users with EasySocial and haven't heard of this issue before. We'll need to narrow down what is different on your site to really dig into a solution.

Can you try:
* Disabling the user or admin activation to see if that fixes the issue?
* In the JFBConnect -> Profiles area, disable all options in there for importing avatar and all profile fields
Let us know if that more minimal registration process resolves the issue and we can go from there.

Thanks,
Alex
