Hello,

My site was apparently hacked. After sanitation, the Login module does not appear, when I open it, it shows "Published"but when in the list mode, it shows "x"as not published.

Can you help?

Thanks

Make sure it's set to a proper module position to display in and set to display for "All" menu items. I don't know why the list view would show it otherwise, but it's possible there's some logic within Joomla that's detecting that, even though it's published, it won't actually be displayed anywhere with the current configuration.

Beyond that, when your site was hacked, did you rebuild it from the ground up or just plug whatever hole was used to attack? It's possible some files within Joomla or other extensions were modified during the attack that's now causing, or will cause, issues like this.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

Yes, it is set to a proper module position and "All" menu items is selected.
I did not rebuilt it from the ground up. Cloudaccess whis is my hosting provider performed the sanitation and we had to revert back to a previous backup. I'm lost, don't know how to fix this. :(

The following are the next things we'd suggest trying:
1) Put another module in that position and see if the behavior is the same
2) Delete the instance of the module and re-create another instance of SCLogin
3) Make sure the access if set for public

Beyond that, it seems like this is an underlying Joomla issue and I'm not sure what we could suggest...
