For position of EasyBlog, all of them are assigned by EasyBlog position.

When you configure a module to display, you can set the module position to whatever you want. A drop-down may be shown, but you can type any module position in there that you want, like "easyblog-before-entries". The dropdown will only show positions available in your template, but extension-specific positions are still available if you know their names.

I hope that helps get you going,
Alex

Hello,

Yes, I could select the other positions, but none of them could be displayed in the articles.
I mean, I would like to display social icons in all articles. I can see them in all articles or categories of joomla. If I choose module position! then social icon will be displayed in that position only?!

Can you help me with facebook comment box also?
Actually, I selected any modules, but I still have no luck. The facebook comment should be displayed in all articles also.

You'll need to set a module position for the social icons to display in if you want to use our module. That can be a template position or one of the module positions that exist within EasySocial. You can create multiple instances of the module and have them display in different module positions depending on the menu item and other flexibility.

Beyond that, if you want to modify the EasyBlog template files, we can help you add the social buttons that way. JFBConnect uses our own custom Easy Tags, like {SCFacebookLike} that can you can use to insert the sharing buttons, or any of the other 50'ish widgets we support, into any area of your site. You can even include our tags in the middle of an EasyBlog article if you want.

With the SCSocialWidget you can configure a Facebook -> Comments module and assign it to any menu or module positions you want, similar to the JFBCSocialShare module. If you're having issues with this, let us know what you've configured and what is, or isn't, working.

I hope that helps,
Alex

Hi,

The easy tag works. But I have one more question. Regarding Tweet share button, I don't get correct URL. I give you an example as follows.

The actual full URL is blog.photo-life.net/2016-01-09-05-14-56-...1-1-2-2-1-1-1-2.html. But Tweet share has indicated to http://blog.photo-life only when I clicked on Twitter button. What kinds of parameter should I have? Please also see attached file.

EasyBlog has also Twitter button, but it indicates to correct URL. Please see attached file also.

Your page is offline right now, so I can't test further. You can specify the URL to use in the Easy-Tag, like {SCTwitterShare href=http://site.com/link.html}. However, then you'd need to customize the tag for each page. If you leave the href off, it should use the current page. It's possible that the offline mode is altering the behavior though.

Additionally, you're free to use the Twitter button within EasyBlog. JFBConnect and the EasyBlog share features are very similar and some share features can even work together, like the Facebook Comment box in EasyBlog can still have email notifications sent when enabled in JFBConnect. While we recommend using our features where you can, our extension tries to play nicely with other extension's social sharing features as well.

I hope that helps explain,
Alex

Hello,

The site is online now. You can do the test now.. BTW, you mean, I need to put completed site URL in the tag for each article??
The easyblog twitter generates the completed URL. Or I will need to have something like script to get completed URL??

The following is current tage.

{SCTwitterShare href=http://blog.photo-life.net data_count=hotizontal counturl=http://blog.photo-life.net via= related= Facebook size=medium dnt=false}

please try to compare with Easyblog twitter button (big one) and JFBConnect one.

blog.photo-life.net/2016-01-09-05-14-56-...1-2-2-1-1-1-2-1.html

Please try leaving the href and counturl out of the easy-tag. JFBConnect will use the current page. Whereas if you leave on that parameter and what you've set it to, you're setting it to the incorrect URL.

Try
{SCTwitterShare data_count=horizontal related=Facebook size=medium dnt=false}
