Are you talking about Like buttons coming from JFBConnect or from K2?

* If K2, you should be able to go into an item > Item View Options > Social Sharing and set those options to Hide. Additionally, go into the category > Item View Option > Social sharing as well to set there too.
* If you think the social sharing buttons are added by JFBConnect and you're using the content plugin, go into the JFBConnect backend > Social > K2 - Like tab to turn this off.

If this doesn't help you resolve the issue, please provide a specific URL and more details on what you've tried.

Hello,

Thanks for your support. I manged to disable the social icon of k2 plug-in. I don't want to use K2 default and that's why I purchased your product instead ;)

BTW, I would like to add comment or track back icon or comment at bottom of article. Right now, I need to click on "read more" button to get the message like "please log in if you would like to comment". Only registered user can do the comment. And also, I would like to hide "Read more" button (I know how to do this).
Please also see attached file. You can access to blog.photo-life.net, but the language is in Japanese....sorry for this.

The comment box shouldn't be hidden by the "Please login .." text at all. Can you double-check the JFBConnect -> Social -> K2 Comments section and make sure you have comments enabled for your K2 content? My only guess is that there's some other comment area that's being gated by authentication that's not related to JFBConnect.

I hope that helps, but if not, just let us know and we'll gladly help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex

Hello,

I can enable "comment" field and I can see the comment box now, but this is for facebook credential isn't this?! If possible, I would like users to log into the system (my blog site) so that they can do the comments. Or JFBconnect can synchronize the credential between the system and facebook?

You have any ideas?

The Comment feature that JFBConnect supports is only for the Facebook Comment widget. To use that widget, a user only needs to be logged into Facebook.com. They do not need to be authenticated on your site in order to comment. That has its advantages on many sites, since users can get involved in discussions without creating accounts.

If you want/need users to be logged into your site to both see and make comments, I don't think the Facebook Comment widget is the right solution for you.

I hope that helps answer your question, but if you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
