I need step by step guidance to allow facebook signon for easysocial. I already know how to get the facebook Id's and everything but I just mean what do I do after I add your extension to my joomla site that already has easysocial onboard. How do I then make facebook single sign on.

It should be as easy as installing JFBConnect. Once JFBConnect is configured running Autotune and tested with Facebook authentication, EasySocial shouldn't have any issues using it.

If you're running into issues getting the two to work together, please let us know:
* What version of JFBConnect and EasySocial you're using
* What issues you're running into

Finally, please post from the account you subscribed to JFBConnect from. Priority support is for active subscribers only.

Thanks,
Alex

okay, I noticed that in the documentation to make it work with easysocial that their was code involved and I'm terrible with code so would have needed help setting this up. But maybe that documentation is outdated and its a lot easier now. I wanted to know that I could defiantly set this up or have help setting this up before i bought a subscription plan.

I am using Easysocial 1.4

Yes, it should be an automatic point-and-click setup with the latest versions of each extension. If you need to customize things to put buttons in different places or other tweaks, you may need to do some code, but we can help point you in the right direction for that stuff as well.

Thanks,
Alex

Okay I just bought your component, installed it and also setup facebook on it. The only thing I did as far as getting it to work with my easysocial was went to the module called SClogin and select easysocial as the registration component. Now when you go to my homepage of my website there is a module for login in and it also has a facebook button now as well. Is this the only way or the way of linking your component to Easysocial? thank you

Within EasySocail's Facebook Configuration area, there is an option for "Use JFBConnect" (or something like that). If you enable that option, EasySocial will automatically add our social login buttons to their login/registration areas.

Beyond that, there is the Social Profiles - EasySocial plugin which should have been installed. Once enabled, you can configure the profile import features of JFBConnect in the admin Profiles area.

Additionally, in the JFBConnect -> Configuration area, you can set the registration component to EasySocial, if you want. That will let a user register with a social network but will send them through the EasySocial flow to fill out their profile details that can't be imported. This is useful if you don't want to use the auto-registration feature of JFBConnect and want the user to go through your standard registration flow to gather more details.

I hope that gives you a couple quick examples, but if you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
