Hi Alex,
i've lately updated a site with JFBC to Joomla 3.

the update process including removing some extensions and installing some new ones, and took place on a different domain - then uploaded to the final domain. not sure that's relevant to the issue but maybe.

besided updating to joomla 3, i've also installed a new template (CloudBase3).

since uploading the new site JFBC has stopped working. there are several issues, some of the are really unclear to me.
wirth mentioning that i was won the previous version of JFBC, then i updated it but all the problems stayed the same.

i will list theme here and provide screenshots if possible.

1. login with FB has stopped working.

2. auto-tune is not working. when going to in JFBC i see the error message: "Facebook Application information not found. Please run AutoTune to fetch your settings.".
when i go into auto-tune, the "facebook app" step - i see a message about my app being new (which is wrong), and 2 buttons to click (screen shot attached) - none of which is doing any thing... or so it seems. the screen stay the same after clicking the buttons.

3. since the update, ant althoug OG tags are found in the source code - for some reason facebook can use them, not sure why....
for example see this page: business-excellence.co.il/blog/352-what-the-employees-know
you can see the tags in the source code, but when shared on facebook it looks bad:

here's a picture of the same page when shared on facebook a week ago, before the update. looks perfect:

when checked on facebook's debugger tool (developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/og/object/) - several errors are displayed mentioning OG tags being missing - but they are all in the code....

joomla version 3.4.5
jfbc version 6.5.3
template: cloudbase3 version 1.0.5

pleas advise me if possible, how can i solve this issues.

thank you very much
yorai

1. login with FB has stopped working.

Where can I test this on your site?

when i go into auto-tune, the "facebook app" step - i see a message about my app being new (which is wrong)

We show that page if you've never run Autotune. If you had copied your old database tables, it wouldn't show that message. So, your app is 'new' to JFBConnect even if it may be the app you were using before.

If the button isn't working, please try:
* Clearing your browser cache and logging back in again
* Disable any optimization plugins you may have installed
* Try the standard Joomla admin template if you aren't already.

3. since the update, ant althoug OG tags are found in the source code - for some reason facebook can use them, not sure why....

If I try to run your site through the Facebook URL debug tool , it throws the following error: "Curl Error : WRITE_ERROR Error while processing content unencoding: invalid block type".

Usually, that error happens when GZip compression is enabled in Joomla 3 on some hosts. We haven't found the cause of it and it's not caused by JFBConnect. I'd recommend disabling GZip compression and re-running your page through the debugger. If it works, Facebook will automatically re-scan all your pages over time.

I hope that helps get you going,
Alex
