It really depends on your audience and your message.
In general, Facebook is for mass audiences and usually not ones that are completely focused on your product. There's so much that goes on on Facebook that it's good to target and put up any message you want there, but there's so many others doing the same, it can be difficult to get through. Facebook also heavily uses algorithms to promote content to the top, so high, high quality (good image, text and a 'hook') can really help you shine. If you just push out content to FB, it's likely to go unseen.
Twitter is sort of the opposite. Many updates are the norm and somewhat expected. It's easier for users to filter out a lot of content since each update is smaller and usually just status of what's happening right now.
LinkedIn is much more conservative. It's a business audience, so if your site is business focused in some way (selling, working with professionals, etc), definitely use it to push updates too. If not, you likely won't get a big following here to start with, so focusing on it may be a waste of time.
I hope that helps with a quick overview, but if you need anything else, let us know!
Thanks,
Alex
