Taking over ... was created by ozwest
I have built a holistic events directory with JEvents. I thought it would be nice to offer the users a nice way to login hence I purchased JFBConnect.

I have installed it but now I have a problem, somehow it seems to take over. On the frontpage of the website there are some listings for each state and at the bottom there is a link that reads "VIEW FULL CALENDAR". Clicking on this link the user should be taken to further listings but the user does not, instead the user gets to a place to login or if logged in, to list his own events.

When looking at the link I clearly see that the link would go on to list other events: holisticevents.com.au/my-events/list-my-...9|86|103|111|119|127 and is passing all the values on.

One thing that I do not like is that I as the super user is constantly logged in when I go to the site.

Can you help please?

I don't think JFBConnect is causing the link to the login page. I'm not sure how that would be caused by JFBConnect at all.

When you click the link, the login page has the following message at the top:

Message
You are not authorised to create/edit events

That seems to indicate that the link being clicked requires the user to be logged in. From the message, it sounds like the link is to edit or create events, not just to view them link the text indicates.

The link itself is to:
/my-events/list-my-event/icalevent_edit/0?catids=59|76|93|110|118|126|134

The fact that 'icalevent_edit' is in the link backs up my assumption that the link itself is incorrect and is to some sort of edit view.

I hope that helps narrow things down. If you still feel JFBConnect is the culprit, just let us know and we'll gladly help investigate further.

Thanks,
Alex
