JFBConnect is meant to be very flexible and relatively easy to implement across all extensions. Some, we have specific integration for, others take a little more elbow grease, but we try to not make it too much.
As for JEvents, you didn't really describe specifically what you wanted to integrate socially into the page. We have a lot of features, so I'm just going to guess that you want to add the social sharing buttons. If so, you can use the JFBCSocialShare module which allows you to configure the main social network sharing features and put them into any module position, or float the bar on the page, like we do at the bottom of this site.
