Hi All

I was surprised to see that YouTube was not included in this module, considering YouTube is probably one of the biggest (if not the biggest) video sharing sites on the internet - and a social hub for many communities. Are there any plans to add a YouTube option for this module in the near future?

YouTube is obviously huge, but we honestly haven't had any other requests to add it. It's a good idea and I've added it to our to-do list tracker. However, I don't have any timeline on when it may be implemented. Thanks for the suggestion.

Thanks for the quick response, I'm certainly surprised you've never been asked about it. I run a website with 450+ active users, and upon implementing this module, I was immediately asked "Where is the YouTube link??" which brought me here. I appreciate you can't put a timeline on it, but myself and my community really look forward to it's implementation.

It depends on every site which works best. Apparently, the users of JFBConnect don't have large YouTube followings. We're always surprised when we add a new feature that we think everyone will love and then we basically hear crickets chirping and no one using it. That's why we generally try to shoot for features that have been requested, like yours.

I've added this to the to-do list for the 6.5 release (the next one), and it shouldn't be overly difficult to implement. There are quite a few updates planned for that release, so it will still be a little time before it's out though.
