Frustrating lack of documentation! How to change Page Tab title?

Sorry for your frustration in finding what you're looking for. Our support forums are the support area. We continuously monitor them and will help with any issues that arise.

For the Page Tab name, the easiest way to change that is to:
* Go into Autotune within the JFBConnect Admin area.
* Click into the FB App section where you can edit your Facebook Application Settings
* Click the "Page Tab" tab
* Update the "Page Tab Default Name" to whatever you'd like.

As for connecting with your Facebook account, JFBConnect has many ways to try and automatically connect a 'new' registration with a social network to an existing Joomla account:
* If you register using a social network and there is a Joomla user with the same email address, JFBConnect will link the accounts
* If you are already logged into Joomla and use the Facebook login button to 'connect', JFBConnect will link the accounts. Our connect buttons can be seen by hovering over the My Account menu in the top left

It seems like you may have logged out of your Joomla account and then tried to login with your Facebook account. Since the email addresses differ, there's no way for JFBConnect to know the 2 users are related. We do have an option in JFBConnect to allow for a mini-registration page, where a user could connect to an existing account during registration. However, we don't use that on this site because it's more important to let users register than guaranteeing each user only has one account. Each site is different.
