Hi

Is it possible to post the whole content of an article to FB via your component, without having to copy/paste it ?

Regards
Picht

Picht,
No, and we wouldn't recommend posting the whole article to Facebook at all anyways. Facebook uses Open Graph Tags to show snippets of your content in a user's feed. JFBConnect fully supports Open Graph Tags to try to automatically set the best snippet for you.

Users, most likely, don't want a whole article in their feed as it's not conventional.

I hope that helps explain. If you really want to post the full article, I'd love to hear more about why, though I don't think we'd be able to help you implement what you're looking for in JFBConnect.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi

I have found that just posting a small text and then a link to a post on a website/blog is not the best way to let people read the whole article.
The one that have liked/subscribed to tha FB page want to read it and find it easier to just read it in FB rather than going to an external site.
This is what my client wants anyway, so i think i might look if some other extension can do it.

Thanks anyway :)

Picht

Thanks for the explanation. As noted, we'll continue following Facebook's recommended methods for posting content which also leads to more users clicking back through to your site. I hope you find something that allows you to do what you're looking for though.

Thanks,
Alex
