Hey
I have SC Login set on all the pages in the header. For technical reasons, I need to redirect all persons logging in at Page X to be redirected to page Y, while at all other pages (apart from X) they need to have the same landing page after login.

I was thinking that I would create an SC login for all pages except X and another SC login for page X (that then has the redirect to page Y).

I have not found out how to do that (just general redirect, which defeats the purpose). Is that possible?

The "Login Redirect" setting in the SCLogin module only applies to standard Joomla logins. Creating a separate instance of the SCLogin module would do what you're looking for in that case.

However, for social network authentications, we only have one setting for New User and Returning User Redirect which is applied to all social authentications. We don't have a way to do different redirects on different pages right now.

I hope that helps explain, even if that's not specifically what you were looking to hear.

Thanks,
Alex

Yes thanks, it does explain it, but it does not help :D

I have found a work-around that is not perfect (a css reproduction of the page I wanted to redirect to).

Sorry we couldn't help further. We have a to-do on our feature tracker to allow for custom redirects. Since the authentication has to be redirected to the social network and back to your site, it's more difficult than it sounds.

I'm glad to hear you found a suitable workaround though.

If there's anything else you need, please let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
