SCWidget: oEmbed doesnt support type

i'm running JFBConnect Version: 6.2.4 on Joomla 3.4.3

while i can make the SCSocial Widget to work for Facebook and can't do the same with Instagram Embedded Media option.

Enable Debugging Mode is set to Yes, but i don't see any other error except oEmbed doesnt support type.

i noticed someone else had a similar problem but his solution doesn't work for me:

i've cleared browser caching, and tried different browsers and i still see the error.

hi, i've upgraded my JFBConnect to Version: 6.4.2.

i'm still experiencing the same error, ie SCWidget shows "oEmbed doesnt support type" when i set Instagram Embedded Media option.

i've run autotune, everything checks out fine. i've also cleared by browser cache and tried using different browsers, the error still persists.
