Hi,

My problem is the JFBCFan module. Weather the setting is Light or Dark it always appears light only. I need it to be dark but it doesn't change.

Our SCSocialWidget module no longer displays the Like Box aka JFBCFan widget (which had the color scheme parameter), as Facebook has replaced it with the Page Plugin widget (which does not have a color scheme). For now we are displaying the page plugin with default options whenever like box is selected in our module. Even though color scheme may still be selectable, it has no effect. If you'd like to see all the up-to-date parameters for the Page Plugin, please change your widget type to Page Plugin.

Please note our older JFBCFan module is no longer supported as we have replaced all of the widget functionality to the SCSocialWidget module. If you are still using the older module, please replace it with an instance of the SCSocialWidget module.

Thanks for fast reply. I know that JFBC doesn't have anything to do with this but this whole Facebook API and the code they provide are getting more and more complicated and less useful. It gets worse all the time they try to "improve" something. 500px max width? It must be a joke. Im sure many website developer very disappointed about it.

I replaced the module to "SCSocialWidget module" but it doesnt show up. I think my module settings are ok but nothing shows up.

Facebook definitely changes things frequently. We work very hard to keep things up to date, as simple as can be, and somewhat standard (so you don't have to know the underlying changes that Facebook has made).

I don't see anything on your site that indicates the module is attempting to appear at the bottom. Do you have any other modules in that position? Can you try it in any other positions to test? Beyond that, I'd try re-create the SCSocialWidget module to see if that fixes it somehow.

I hope that helps, but if you need anything else, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex

Thanks. Yes you were right. I forgot to publish the module however it did not solve my problem. Nothing is in the module.

Please look at the settings in the SCSocial Widget instance you created. It doesn't look like any Facebook Page was set to be rendered, which is why nothing is showing.

Let us know how that goes, but if it's still not working, we'll gladly help investigate.

Thanks,
Alex
