I have added facbook action buttons to our sobipro template.
after clicking the button, the url has this on the end #_=_
So I presume i did not do it right?
www.ehcanadatravel.com/1-alberta/lake-lo...e-annette-trail.html

when clicked should it show on my facebook wall?
can the action image be taken from the image on the page, or the image field for the entry?

For the facebook comments, is it possible to have the 'post to facebook' checked by default?

Many thanks!
Colin

First, I apologize for the delay.

I just tested on your page and I see the redirection back to the home page with _#_ in the URL. That's normal behavior for an initial registration, but shouldn't happen after that.

When I click the button and approve the permissions, it brings me back to your site with "Facebook profile successfully connected.". On the home page, it seems like I'm not currently authenticated since there is a "Login" button in the bottom left menu. When you authenticate with Facebook, are you actually being logged into the site?

If not, we'll need to determine why. Please make sure the Authentication and User plugins for JFBConnect are enabled as a first step. Beyond that, I'm not sure exactly what to look at, but will gladly help however we can.

Thanks,
Alex

Hey Alex,
I see you have an account created on our site, I have boosted it to super admin so you can make any adjustments if need be.
The login link in the bottom left menu is a static link that is always there, whether you are logged in or not.
I have enable the authentication and user plugins, as they where disabled.

I still see the #_=_ in the url. Please advise.

Colin

Open Graph Actions require that the user grant the publish_actions permission for your Facebook Application. That is what allows your site to post on the user's behalf. To request that permission from your users, you need to go through the Facebook Permission Review process. This can be done in the Facebook Developer Area for your app under the "Status & Review" section. In there, you'll need to describe that you want to use the permission for Open Graph Action usage on your site.

Because that hasn't been submitted and approved, right now, when I click the action button, I'm being redirected to Facebook to grant that permission. Since that's not a permission you can request of your users yet, it's simply redirecting me back to your site.

To test, you can try to use the action button from a user that is an administrator of your Facebook Application, who can grant any permission for your app.

I hope that helps explain, but if you need more assistance, just let us know.

Thanks,
Alex
