Thanks for the FTP credentials. You noted that LinkedIn is disabled in the message. Yes, we'll need that enabled to diagnose further since we need to recreate the error.

If you don't want to enable it for a long period, you can also send us super admin details along with how you disabled it (hiding it in the SCLogin module, removing the API/Secret keys, etc) so that we can re-enable it just while we test... and disable it again if it's still not working when we're done.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

I sent you a pm, with the needed information. I'd rather not have the button enabled for a long time, as this will cost me some clients...

Best regards,

Judith

Judith,
I'm unsure what's going on now. I got into the admin area and added the LinkedIn API / Secret key you gave and then tested on the front end. My account was registered automatically and thinks happened without any errors.

I left the keys enabled. If you could test to see if the registration process works for you, that'd be a big help.

One thing I noticed was that you have many different Social Profile plugins enabled. If you aren't using them, I'd recommend disabling any social profile plugins you don't need as each one can slow down the registration process slightly and can create more conflicts overall.

Keep us posted on what you find, and we'll gladly help investigate further as necessary.

Thanks,
Alex

Hi Alex,

This is strange indeed. I tried to login with the LinkedIn button and it worked! I really don't know what made this possible, It's the first time that it worked. Let's keep this post open, I will try the other social login buttons and all other features of your great extension.

Maybe my host did do anything?

I will keep you posted!

Best regards, Judith

Definitely keep us posted. My guess is that your host changed something.. we've seen things mysteriously happen like that before even after an initial denial. Either way, keep eyes on it and let us know how things go, and I'm glad it's working now.. for whatever reason :)

Thanks,
Alex
